20% of profits from preorders made until September 30th, 2020 will be donated to THE TREVOR PROJECT, which provides a variety of support services for LGBTQ youth, including a 24/7 hotline. Other HP actors have supported the Trevor Project, but I'm also supporting the Trevor Project because I know people who work this suicide prevention hotline, and I know this hotline gets busier whenever a prominent person makes anti-trans remarks. Her rhetoric is not merely an opinion, but is damaging to people already dealing with incredible barriers. Her prominent voice lends support for an anti-trans movement to strip away basic rights, and permits discrimination in all areas of life, including health care, education, jobs, housing, and more.
