FAQ

  • Where is the store based?

    Los Angeles, CA

  • Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?

    Absolutely!

  • How long will it take to receive my order?

I am a one-person business, and if the item is NOT a preorder item, I will process your order and ship it within 2-5 business days. Once shipped most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of your local postal service. International shipping delivery times may vary between 2 and 3 weeks upon your order being shipped.

  • Who does the artwork?

I do! Every item features original artwork by me. All artwork is original and painted with love, effort, and most importantly, lots of patience! All of the art you see is entirely hand-drawn and hand-painted, from beginning to end.

  • What medium do you use to make your art?

Having been trained as a traditional artist, I work in a variety of mediums, including oils, acrylics, and more recently, digital painting. I live in a tiny apartment, and turpentine just doesn't work very well with that space. So I have transitioned to making a lot of my works digitally, which means it's just painted directly into a computer. I use traditional painting methods that I translate into digital techniques. That means, no short-cuts, over-painting, or tracing! Everything you see is entirely painted, from beginning to end. That is why it takes anywhere from 200-500 hours or more to paint each piece.

  • Can I do custom orders? Like, your art on a different item?

Absolutely! I can put my artwork on anything. Currently, I offer my designs and art on a huge variety of items, such as pouches and purses, laptop covers, iPad covers, pillowcases, dogtags, and many, many more. I also work closely with many suppliers and vendors that I personally vet for high quality reproductions of my artwork. Just contact me via the Contact page to discuss what you envision!

  • Can I buy prints of your artwork?

In some cases, yes! All of my prints are limited edition, signed and numbered. They are printed on exhibition quality Fujicolor Crystal Archive paper, and will last 100 years if you do not leave it in direct sunlight. Once the edition is done, I retire the painting from any additional prints. So if you're interested in artwork and would like it framed or unframed, please contact me via the Contact page to inquire about the availability of prints!

  • Where are the rest of your products?

If bring you follow me on social media, you've probably seen pictures of my exhibition booths at various conventions and art shows in California and around the country. I do a few conventions and art shows a year, and I typically bring a load of different products, including my framed limited edition prints, postcards, art books, pouches, buttons, dog tags, and more. I do prefer handling all of my transactions in person -- it's more fun and personal that way! What you see in this store are items I have extra quantities of, or are frequently requested via email.

If you're interested in an item that I don't have in the store, I will still be happy to offer that item to you. Just contact me using the Contact page, and we can arrange it!

  • How can I find out where your next art show or convention appearance will be?

I will post a list of my exhibition, art shows, and convention appearances for 2014 soon! I typically post a convention/art show list on my various social media, including Tumblr and Facebook, and I update followers across all of my social media on where I will be next. Make sure you follow me to get updates!

  • Where can I find the t-shirt sizing chart?

The t-shirt sizing chart page is located in the left hand column of the store links.

  • Oops, I accidentally ordered the wrong size t-shirt! May I exchange it?

My t-shirts are very limited-run items, and due to the small quantities, I may not be able to offer an exchange. Depending on the situation, I may be able to offer a refund. In that case, you are responsible for the cost of shipping the shirt back to me in its original condition.

If you realize you ordered the wrong size t-shirt, please let me know ASAP! It'll be way easier to resolve before I package the shirt for shipping.

  • I preordered a t-shirt. When should I expect it to arrive?

When a t-shirt is available for preorder, it means the shirts are not printed until preorders close. Then, it takes a few weeks to print the order, package, and ship all of the orders (I am a one-person business, so this takes some time for me!)

Please doublecheck the t-shirt listing: I always include information on when the shirt is estimated to start shipping.

  • For international orders, what are the customs duties? Who pays them?

For international (non-U.S. orders), the buyer is responsible for understanding their local import/customs duties, and paying for these duties/fees if it is required to receive the package. It is not the seller's responsibility to pay for or advise on customs duties.

If a package is returned to me because the recipient failed to pay required custom duties, I will be happy to refund the customer the cost of the purchased products minus shipping. If the customer would like me to re-ship on a later date, I will be happy to do so, but will need to charge for shipping again.

If you are unsure about customs duties, please do feel free to ask me and we can figure it out together!

  • Why is your shipping to the United Kingdom so expensive?

I cannot ship Storenvy orders to UK due to VAT requirements. Storenvy also does not allow me to block specific countries from international sales. Therefore, I set the shipping to be absurdly expensive to dissuade sales from the UK. Please contact me to inquire about other ways to purchase.

  • What is Storenvy?

This store is created with Storenvy, an online store builder and marketplace for inspired brands. As a shopper, you can discover and buy items from multiple stores from all over the world and check out in one step at or open your own store for free.

  • How do I pay for my order? Is it secure?

The Storenvy checkout process is powered by both Stripe and PayPal, two of the most trusted online payment solutions on the web. Because of this, Storenvy has all the same securities and payment fraud protection as these leading payment processors. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and Diners Club. If paying with PayPal, you may also make payments using your bank account, but this may delay your order.

  • What if something is wrong with my order?

If you have a problem with an order from this store, please contact the store directly, either through the Contact page or through your Storenvy account settings page.
